You may sign up for programs using the following methods:
Via Email – Fastest, easiest way to get signed up for our courses. Our form can be filled out on the computer and emailed to us without wasting paper! Just follow the directions below to get your registration form filled out, and email it in. No hassle, no fuss!
By Phone – We can also process your registration over the phone. The process takes about 10 minutes, so please allow for enough time for us to get all your information. Phone # 907-345-0878.
By Fax – We can process your registration paperwork via fax, We strongly suggest you email or call us first to confirm availability of room in your course. Please call or email to confirm receipt of your fax. Fax #: 907-274-0317
By Mail – Snail mail still works! Please send in your completed registration form and payment to: P.O. Box 100145, Anchorage, AK 99510.
Follow the directions below to download and fill out the registration form.
NOTE: While you can open the pdf in your browser, you cannot fill it out on the internet, it must be downloaded.
On a Mac:
1. Right click on the link below and click "download linked file"
2. Open the file where you saved it, and right click the PDF, select "open with – Preview"
3. Complete the information for each field on both pages of the form. Please type your full name in the signature field.
4. Once complete, go to File -> Save as; and assign a new file name.
5. Email the completed form to alaskaavalanche@mac.com
On a PC: (still working on direct paperless email submission at this time. Please open form via internet, complete the form information , print and then scan to our email address. Sorry for the delay in paperless submission).

On an Iphone:
Our form works on Iphones! You do however, need to download the free software "Adobe Reader" by Adobe systems incorporated to be able to fill it out. Other PDF readers should work, but we have only tested Adobe Reader.
1. Go to the app store and type in "Adobe Reader"
2. Once downloaded, go back to our website and download the file. you can then open it with Adobe Reader.
3. once filled out, you have the option to send it as an attachment.
4. Save the File as Lastname_First.pdf Example – doe_john.pdf
5. Email it back to alaskaavalanche@mac.com

Payment:
We accept tuition payment via Cash, Check and credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Discover).
If full payment is not available at the time of registration we may be able to set up a payment plan. The final payment made 3 weeks prior to the start date of the program. Please contact the office to discuss this option.
Scholarship Funds:
The Alaska Avalanche School has a scholarship fund created to provide financial assistance to experienced Alaskan travelers whom without financial assistance might otherwise find it difficult to participate in field backcountry avalanche programs. Since AAS receives many applicants for this program, it is encouraged that potential students evaluate their situation and only apply to the scholarship program if they truly need financial assistance. Please contact us for more information or to obtain a scholarship application. If you would like to make a contribution to this fund it would be greatly appreciated.
